Inshore Lifeboat Launched To Jet Ski

On Friday evening (July 7) the Inshore lifeboat was initially launched at 20:40 to report of a broken down Jet ski that was situated some 5 minutes outside Poole Harbour.
Whilst the lifeboat was en-route more details came through over the radio communications that the Jet ski was now sinking and the 2 persons on-board were very cold.
When the lifeboat arrived on scene they found that the casualties had made it ashore with their ski.  The crew went  assessed both of the jet skiers and it was decided that they would need a further check over by the ambulance crew to be safe.
Due to the location the lifeboat crew made the decision to transfer the casualties onto the lifeboat and land them at the Chain Ferry but at that time all the ambulances in the vicinity  were tasked elsewhere. The lifeboat brought the casualties back to the station and the Poole Coastguard mobile unit was requested to transport the casualties after they were warmed up.
The inshore Lifeboat re-fueled and was ready for service at 22.15
