A Wonderful Visitor To The Station

We welcomed a visitor down at the lifeboat station today July 31st.

Mike was recently saved after a strong current took him offshore at Sandbanks. Luckily he was spotted and held afloat by a couple of passing jetskiers before the lifeboat arrived.

One of the crew who helped rescue Mike, Huggy Huggins, today showed Mike around the station and lifeboats to explain a little about what we do.

Huggy said ‘it’s not often we get a visit from someone we’ve rescued and it was great to see Mike up and about.’

‘We’d like to thank Mike for his very generous donation which will go towards saving further lives in and around Poole.’
