Behind The Scenes of BBC Series Saving Lives At Sea.

On BBC2 Tuesday 30th at 8pm Poole Lifeboat volunteers  featured on the final episode of the series.
Produced by BlastFilms! they have been identifying and researching rescues from the 238 Lifeboat stations around our coast.
In July the production team spent a day with four volunteers who took part in a particular call out (you’ll have to watch to see which one).
Interviews were filmed and each crew member spent about 2 hours looking down the lens being interviewed in the traditional yellow jackets (you’ll see we didn’t have all the gear on) – I think they would be more comfortable going to sea!
Also being filmed was an afloat session just to get some added shots of the Lifeboat afloat plus some scenic shots around Poole.
Here is some behind the scenes shots.
