More than 1,000 fundraising groups with 35,000 volunteer fundraisers underpin everything that the RNLI does through their local events and activities. Hundreds of volunteers also abseil, dive and run marathons for the RNLI. Fundraisers are vital to help the RNLI raise the millions of pounds needed to keep our lifeboats and lifeguards operating.
Poole fundraising team
Poole has an active group – Poole and District Fundraising Group – that is always looking for new members to join their team of volunteers. Poole and District Fundraising Group is an integral part of our lifeboat family at Poole. Through a sense of personal responsibility and pride in what we do, the volunteers raise awareness and help to generate the income that keeps our boats on the water.
If you’d like to help us you can get involved in a variety of ways – including rattling buckets, supporting events or baking cakes for coffee mornings – and you can commit as much or as little time as you want! You can join us for a one-off event, maybe just for 1 or 2 hours, or with local fundraising collections or maybe something more challenging.
We’d love to hear from you – so please get in touch!
